We had a busy weekend of calling, getting a building ready for UBC choir and then my husband was out until late Saturday night helping a family move from church. Sunday was a busy day at church. UBC choir was wonderful, they did a great job! So our weekend went by pretty fast!
We had a great afternoon of calling on Saturday. Some of our older teens are really wanting to go calling each week. It's wonderful for them to be so interested, especially since they are older and dependable. Nathan and I are very excited about this! We have several very good contacts, so hopefully within the next few weeks we can get some kids on our bus route!! It's also a great time to get closer to our teens and "connect" with them! They really are wonderful kids. Maybe I will post a picture of them soon. That would be cool! We are really proud of them. 3 of the older teens have gotten saved since we've been here and to us that is so exciting. They have grown so much. They now all have boyfriends/girlfriends! We will probably be seeing some "weddings" in the future! We definitely have enough "love in the air" around our teens to last for awhile. hee
Today has been a good day. Just laundry, cleaning, changing bed clothes, grocery trips, cooking supper (Enchilada soup.....very very yummy...i should post recipe) and now relaxing a while. Nathan's out-probably working on his motorcycle. The kids are actually playing in their room very nicely!!
Hope you've had a great day!

Here's 2 recipes I've made a lot recently and just love:

Enchilada Soup: 1-2 cans chicken (canned or cooked)
1 can Cream of chicken soup
1 can Enchilada sauce
1 can Fiesta Nacho Cheese Soup
2 1/2 C. Milk
1/2 c. Green chilies
(Make up some cheese quasadillas (sp?) and you've got your meal!!)

Autumn Apple Salad:
20 oz. pineapple, un-drained
2/3 c. sugar
3oz. lemon JELLO
8oz. cream cheese
1 C. unpeeled apples
1/2 C. crushed pecans
1 C. celery (I've made it without because I don't care for too much for celery!)
1 C. Cool-whip

Saucepan: pineapple, sugar: mix and bring to boil 3 minutes. Add jello, stir till dissolved. Stir cream cheese (soft). Let cool. Fold in apples, pecans, celery and cool whip! 9*13 pan.
