Selah Hope 23 months. I love her little ponytale:) She's growing up way too fast. She has personality plus but yet is pretty tiny for her age!
Spencer and Savannah are growing even fast, with Savannah just loosing both front teeth:) Spencer spends his days going to preschool and discovering new things around the house! Loves playing with Kristopher, our new babysitting boy.
Our church is doing well, with new people the last month and my Jr. Church gaining more kids. That part is quite the challenge but we will keep going!! Of course Nathan has a full plate with working full-time as well as do a Pastor's Job. We love it here in Loogootee, our life is simple and that's the way we like it!

Spencer started preschool this week. He is loving it and already learning. He has the best preschool teacher ever. She is amazing.
Savannah is doing great in 1st grade with her teacher. She gets up every morning with her own alarm clock. I really want my kids to learn responsibility in that way. She is growing up so so fast:(
Miss Selah...:) She is my little spunky side kick. She has a streak about her the others didn't have. Mostly, I think it's that survival mode she's had to create to survive her older siblings! Besides spunky, she lights up my day with her shiny blonde hair and blue eyes with that sweetest smile.
We are doing well here in Loogootee, with our church doing good. We will be here 3years in November. It's hard to believe. We love our life here. We may not be growing leaps and bounds and there's plenty of hard times along the way trying to raise a family and pastor....and do it all at one time! But....faithfulness is key and we know if we are where God wants us to be, that's where life will be best:)
Nathan keeps plenty busy working 40+ hrs, pastoring, keeping the lawn mowed, vehicles maintained, being a Daddy and husband...and whatever else needs done! He does a good job at it.
The one thing I learned today: We as Mothers tend to look for ways to fulfill our need to contribute to society through 'doing this or that, etc' when we have the most important job on this earth! Being a Mother! It requires 24/7 involvement in their lives. Just pray I can be a good one.

Wow! Times flies when you are busy:) Our little world of a growing family is going quite well! Selah is 7 wks. today, and growing like crazy.....she now weighs 11 lbs! Chubby little girl. Cute as a button. She's given us so much to love already! We love her to death and she gets a lot of attention. She goes through a lot of excitement!
My days are spent doing all the mommy things.....it feels like a repeat most days but there's excitement in between! Never a dull moment that's for sure. You never know what will happen next whether it's gonna be Spencer "washing his dirty feet" in the bathroom sink that is full to the brim, or Savannah asking "why, why ,why" over EVERYTHING.....or.....Selah that potty's all over mommy when I'm already trying to get rid of a dirty diaper~! It's a lot to handle! But I try to stay calm in the middle of it all. I guess I'm living my dream and just forget that at times. I stop and tell myself, this is the best life could give me. I have it all and am content. I have a great husband who loves us all so much. He does a pretty good job taking care of his little peeps:)
Church is going great. There's the high and low times, the financial worries and the list goes on but through it all there's a purpose for our little church. We know God has his hand on us.
So much from this tired Momma tonight. I know I've been lacking in the blogging world. I guess facebook kinda takes over.

If you like herbs, herbal teas, etc. check out 'Bulk Herb Store' online. Very neat, Christian owned business. Also, lots of info on each herb. Just something I've always liked and been interested in. I'm wanting to try the Red Raspberry Tea, great for pregnancy and preparing for birth. I drank it last pregnancy, but not in a real fresh way as far as fresh leaves go! A little pricey on shipping though so not sure, but love the sight anyhow!!

So far this week is going ok! Monday's are laundry days around here. I also got some more organizing done. I am already getting those "antiety" cleaning attacks and I've got almost 8 1/2 more weeks to go:) I put Nathan to work on his 'to-do' list after work. The shelves in our closet have been too low where our clothes drag the floor......so therefore he had to unscrew and rescrew several times! But the job is done and our closet got reorganized in the process....and swept out!! Thank you babe.
I have several more 'jobs' to be done...but I'll suprise him in slow motion!!

The kids this past Sunday morning~! Savannah loves clothes and oh my goodness, is Sunday mornings ever fun!! We normally end up with something cute....after a little "pick-n-choose"!! Spencer don't really care, he just wants to be a cowboy:) They are growing up so fast. Savannah can't wait for her new baby sister.....after Christmas she says! I'm sure fun filled days are ahead! She's already talking about holding her, taking her up to her room (scary), combing her hair, dressing the baby, giving baby a bath...AND she's informed me the baby can sleep in her room.lol She has it all planned out, which I think will lead to lots and lots of "help" when baby comes!!

Isn't this a beautiful picture?! I love it. It looks like true health to me~! Forget Mickey D's hamburgers, this is what the body was intended to eat and it's delicious. I thought it was pretty though.....even though my kids do get Mickey D's every once in a while:)

Nathan was so nice to brake the beans for me to and wash all the produce up! Thanks babe.....little things like that help so much.

Labor Day we went to Steve and Marlas house (aunt and uncle). The kids had a blast playing on April's toys! They probably drive the bigger kids crazy though......Tyler said "It's wearing me out looking after the little kids"! I think they were pretty good sports though.

Seems like it's been one thing after another for us lately. Nathan's looking for another truck.....we think his has seen much better days:) He has wisdom teeth that he's scheduled to get out soon....yipee, no dental insurance. A few weeks ago I went to open my van trunk and a plastic peice just fell off so now it no longer opens and finding that part could be real fun or real pricey to get fixed......so, when it rains it poors as they say! But all is well and such is life~!

On a much happier note, our pregnancy is going well. Had an ultrasound last week and baby is doing great, which is now 14 weeks. My sickness has pretty much subsided, although like this morning.....it's not over yet:) I just can't believe how time is flying......it'll be Christmas, then a new baby!! Very exciting, but I already know my hands will be very full. Just hope I get a boost of energy before then.

All for now...I have a little man up from his way too-short nap:(

"The Lord Has Make EVERYTHING beautiful in His Own Time"!! What a beautiful day. I love this crisp, cool mornings. You don't even feel the urge to sleep in.....it's just too nice to waste the great day!!

Our days have been busy lately. I have been babysitting Phoenix, a little grandaughter to a couple at our church who's 9 months. She's a doll and the best little girl I could ever watch. All I have to do is lay her down with her bottle and asleep she goes!:) She's also very happy when she's awake. But that's been keeping me busy, I've had her pretty much every day lately. Her mommy has gone back to do some college classes. And hopefully my family can be a witness to her since she doesn't come to church!!

So, today is babysitting again here soon. Savannah has been going to preschool and LOVES it!! And is learning too. It's a great program and awesome teacher!

Our services went well yesterday! We are having a revival in October so our church is getting excited for a special occasion.

Spencer has been a little spit-fire since I've been babysitting, plus Savannah being gone to preschool. He's been throwing his little fits and all.......which isn't going over too well with this momma.:) He's a sweetie though.

Well, just a few tid-bits~~~~~ Better run for now.

Savannah started preschool this Tuesday. She loves it! Can't wait to go the next day. It's down the road at the Methodist Church. I think it's going to work out very well and she's already learning new things!

Today was my Mama & Papa Snyder's "50th" Anniversary Open House this afternoon and a family meal at Knepp's Restaruant! It was such a great day. It turned out very pretty, yummy cake and a good turn-out of people! Lots of great memories for them. We took lots of pictures and I got the day on video, which will be a life-long treasure! I will post more pictures later.
Last night we took at fast planned camping trip to Glendale! Just the 4 of us! It was a fun fun, beautiful night. We loaded up the tent, I went to the store.....packed some clothes and away we went! The kids thought it was the neatest thing ever!!lol We sit by the campfire, they rode and rode their bikes......and they even did great in the tent. They slept like logs, and here I was afraid of them not sleeping. They slept much better than mommy and daddy!! We didn't take our air bed....and let me tell ya, we will regret it for the next few days. We barely slept at all!! I kinda forgot how uncomfortable the hard hard ground is. But anyhow! We had lots of fun and laughter and loaded up this morning to come home. It always feels to to get the smoke smell off and get a nice soapy hot shower!! I love camping, but not so much all the "creepy-crawlies" and dirt!!:)
Well, so long for now. That's a tidbit of our weekend. Tomorrow is the Lord's Day and excited for church! Last Sunday was a success...we had 57 for Friend's and Family Day!! And a wonderful meal. We had 3 new ones, which was a direct outcome of our calling day on Saturday!

What a beautiful day outside! Yesterday I did some yard work and loved every minute of it. I love working outside....almost more than inside which is a downfall in the summer! Although don't worry, the laundry does get done. Has to whether we want to or not, right?! I had to repot some plants that were growing too big. And then put a little mulch down. We need a few truck loads of mulch around here! The weeds are terrible and they say it's because the mulch is way too thin. It's a full time job trying to keep up with them, which is just about impossible:( Anyhow, and we also worked in our garden yesterday....down at Mama & Papa Snyders house. The kids love it. We had to get some weeding done. Everything is looking great though! Before long we will have tomatoes, squash, okra, carrots, cucumber, pepper, and hopefully some yummy watermelon later on!! After doing that I took the kids to the park for a little picnic. It was a beautiful morning for that!

So...that's our week so far. Of course Nathan's at work and always finds something to do when he gets home....even if I "have" to find him something.ha Last week he was pretty exhausted by the end of the week. Several guys were on vacation at work and they all had to work more than their share. He's very thankful for his job though, he's very fortunate for how it all worked out!! God is good!!

Our church is doing good! The past few Sunday's have been more encouraging for us! Our numbers have been up compaired to a few weeks there. It makes it more exciting when more people are there!! We pray things just continue to keep growing....we look at the future and hope for great things spiritually, finacially, and just bond together and win people for Him!!

Well, so much for now.....must go get something done. Although my washer's working for me at the moment. Wouldn't it be awesome to have 2-3 washers and get it all done more quickly. We could be like the Duggar Family and have multiple washers....but forbid THAT much laundry!!ha.......have a great day!!

Nathan's Dad side of the family got together here at Boggs Lake Monday and Tuesday. They have a beautiful home where the lake is right in their backyard! It's just about as pretty as you can get!! And of course the kids loved fishing Tuesday night. Annete helped them get the fish of the line and they thought that was pretty neat!:)
It was nice having Nathan's parents here for a few days! The kids loved every moment and hated to see them leave:( And of course Nathan's Dad did his share of work fixing things around here while Nathan was working during the day! Thanks for all you did! And for Grandma taking them to the park and treating them to "Donalds"!

What a hot week!! Thankfully I think it's going to cool down a notch this coming week. My kids are excited since they now have Tyler and Katelyn's older pool......with a built in slide:) Wonderful what will make little ones happy....just not looking forward to the teen yrs.
We had a little get together at my Aunt Kathy's today. Mixture of Father's Day dinner and birthday dinners I think. Kathy made homemade apple dumplings and homemade ice cream! Yum. Troy cooked chicken over the fire which was perfect! They have a very nice home and church there in Bloomington!
Church is going well! The last few Sunday's have been a little lower crowds, but some of the other one's can't get out with this terribly hot weather. We are encouraged anyhow!! The lightening got our projector screen recently....which we are getting fixed. It also got our home computer....yes, our nicer one:( Thankfully this one we found at Dinky's (and auction around here) for real cheap and it work's great!
The latest news is Spencer is doing great pottying! I'm so excited. This week he's been just training himself more less. I haven't even tried. He's went off and on before, but this week he's just caught on and hasn't made any accidents going on 3 days now!! I'm soooooooo happy! Can't believe it's going this easy for me. Thank you Lord!!!~ Of course Savannah helps him... "Don't you DARE potty in your pants, you hear me?" ha It's acutally quite funny. Poor guy takes it seriously! And I don't dicipline for accidents. I've heard of that, but to me it seems too mean. I can see if they're 4 yrs old and know completely better!
Last weekend I was in my friend Kristin Lynn's wedding, from Plainfield church. Very sweet girl and so glad to be a part of her special day!!

Our Weekend

Friday we got things tidied around the house so we could enjoy our day Saturday on our motorcycle ride with some people from church and we also made some new friends with the other riders! So Friday was a day of getting junior church ready, cleaning, laundry (which I always have)...Nathan had yard work to get done, he also sold his old bike that night (which I was extremely happy:)! Thrusday my aunt mim and I extensively cleaned the church.....almost 5 hrs. worth! We were pretty pooped after that. There were some pretty dirty hiden corners that needed some attention. I also spent several hours organizing the sunday school rooms. So we left that afternoon feeling much better about life!:)ha
Anyhow. Saturday we took a motorcycle ride down to Owensboro KY. I don't think I was quite braced for it, this was my first longer ride. My back and neck hurt so bad by the time it was over. My muscles were not used to the strain of riding and going against the wind like that. But we had a very good day. It was very beautiful.
We had a great day at church today. Several missing, but understandable with graduation time, etc! We are planning our yard-sale, baked sale and also saling meals that a couple from church are preparing for us. Clearance Line and his wife Brenda have a huge smoker they are bringing and smoking chicken, pork, steak and also making sides to put meals together to sell. And I have to say they are experts at doing this! They could definitely go around to events doing this, so anyone reading needs to come just to buy ya a meal!! And did I mention a baked sale too? yeah, so I think we got it covered! We are advertising in the paper and going to put signs around town, etc! Hoping for the best.
Well, so much for now. Looks like our week is planned out for us! Our church camp (the denomination we are with) is on this week but doesn't look like we'll get there this year!:( Next week I have to go back to be in a wedding in Plainfield. One of our youth we helped get in to church is getting married! They are still very dear to us so we are excited.

Life is going great here in Loogootee! Last Friday night our youth went camping and they had lots of fun! We went on a hayride which was quite the adventure:) It was nice spending time with them. And the little ones that were there had a blast playing with the little froggies....it was so funny watching them laugh when they jumped away!
Our church is doing great! We grow closer to our people more and more. Junior church is going....hopefully ok! I don't feel very good at it and I'm definitely not a very creative person but I'm trying to find new things that will be fun for them. I wish so bad I had a huge imagination of creativity...only in my second life I guess! But I do love the kids and hope God can use something I say or do! We hope to have VBS later in the summer.
Savannah turned 4 on the 10th. Can't believe it. She's getting pretty big! Literally. She's already weighs more than I did at probably 8-9 yrs. old! no kidding. But she's a sweetheart and I love her to death!
Spencer is as crazy as ever...everyone says he looks just like Aaron or my dad?? He's turning in to a little more fisty here lately. I feel like all I've done this week is hand out spankings. And yes, I say hand-out! Because I've made my mind up...that's your reward for fits, backtalk, if you act bad in the store, for not immediately doing what I say and ignoring me.......ummm anything else I missed?? Whew...someone should have told me it was hard. ha Recently they've really tried me and I'm to the point I have to "nip it in the bud" as my hubby tells me will be the only thing to work!:) It's kinda hard on the nerves though. But there are better moments too. More so than the bad. I made it sounds bad! They are very fun to have around and it's a joy to train them.
My hubby has been keeping busy. With work, church, things to do places to go and family time....he keeps himself quite busy. I'm proud of him though. He hold it all together pretty well. We are very happy with our lives here.
Well, bed time around this household. Too late! But Bonita said she looks on my blog a lot......which makes me sad because I forget to update! I'll try harder Bonita! I know my Mother-in-law would love for me to update pic's a little more often too~~!

Wow, it's been a while! I tend to get behide in the blogging world. Things have been busy, but going very well here in Loogootee! Savannah just had her 4th birthday on the 10th. I have one more year with her before school.....I cannot believe it!! Time flies.
Mother's Day was nice. On Saturday we went up north and surprised Nathan's Mom. She didn't know anything about it! So Nathan (along with us), Rachel and Jon and Aytha suprised her at a restaurant. Well, and of course Larry was there!! It was pretty funny to see her face:)
This past Saturday night we were invited out to the Line's house. ( a couple that have recently started attending our church) It was a really great evening of meeting new people. We met a few wonderful couples. There was an older couple there from Bicknel that Clearance met through trucking and while these people were broke down traveling. Needless to say, they are here in Bicknel now! But they were sooooo neat. So full of wisdom after raising 8 children, home-schooling them, and the mother nursing them!! She had a boat load of stories to share and she encouraged me so much. Her husband really encouraged Nathan with his words of wisdom! So I'm so glad we met them and I think God kinda put us there for that evening. On our way home we just said wow, that was like a great big blow of fresh air!!
Sunday was a good day at church, our crowds were up after the past couple Sundays!

We had a great Easter weekend with family. Nathan's parents were here. The kids had lots of fun with Grandpa & Grandma. It felt like the weekend just flew by with not enough time for visiting!:( Nathan's sister and family was here yesterday for church and Easter dinner. We had a good day!
We were thrilled to have a big crowd out for Easter Sunday morning! We had 78...our biggest yet! It was very nice seeing the church full of people and new faces. And our church people surprised us with a beautiful picture last night. It was very nice and we were talking about it last night when we got home of how nice that was and how great our church people are. We feel so much has been accomplished and can't wait for the days ahead!!
Savannah and Spencer got Easter baskets, which they thought was pretty neat!! They came down from their rooms yesterday morning and Grandma had them all arranged all nice and neat. Savannah's eyes lit up!! They got these monkey's that make noise, they are so cute:)
Well, so much for now. There's always work to do. Today it's laundry around here! blah! Tonight we are going to check up on an older man in the hospital...he's very bad off. .....Have a great Week!

What a pretty day! Yesterday was even nice though. The kids played out all afternoon, until they were filthy. We have quite a lot of sand for them to discover!! Nathan is going to plant grass seed in the back yard where there was a pool. Right now its a sand circle! I guess I'm picky, but I do not like the hastle of sand tracking in the house. It even gets in their hair!! Anyhow! They had a blast, and we also went for a walk in the evening.
Everything is going well. Just keeping busy with life! Our church is doing great. We are growing and there is a spirit of happiness in the air. Our largest number yet has been 64, and we were thrilled! This Sunday night we are having a special group come and sing.
Well, I will update later! Todays piano lesson day, plus church tonight!

The high winds have been terrible today. Also the heavy rain! It's getting rather chilly out and someone mentioned snow tonigh:( Hope not!
Everything is going great here in Loogootee. Just keeping busy with life! Spencer turns 2 yrs old Friday! I ask him how old he is and he says "I'm five!" And just laughs.....he knows he's joking. He's talking so much lately and repeats anything Savannah says! They both had a fun night tonight. They got Valentine boxed filled with candy from their Wednesday night teacher. They were pretty hiper let me tell ya!
I am battling a bladder infection which I had to get treated for today, so I've been having back pain and just feeling a little crummy.......guess I will be downing the water like crazy!
I have been doing a little more "remodling" this week. Nathan came home from work Monday and I had the hallway stripped from the carpet all the way down to the hardwood! The carpet sadly wasn't all that old, but dogs were in the house and it reaked of dog:( which I can't stand. But I didn't know that there was 4 different layers under the carpet! I worked my little self to death, but I got it done! My goal was to get to the hardwood in hopes of just restoring that, which is in the bathroom and the spare room. But I don't see that happening now....the floor is quite the mess underneath...the old vynol is stuck stuck stuck to the hardwood. But we shall see. Church is going great. We had a good bible study tonight. I think we all got something from it. I am quite proud of my Nathan for all he's doing. He's doing quite the good job, which I always invisioned he could do!! I love you babe! You are a good husband and daddy.
Well, so much for tonight. I must be off to bed before long!! Last night Savannah woke me up a million times....she's scared of rain or any type of outside activity that has noise. So between that and pottying, I was more up than down:( But oh well, I guess I should just love it all while I can:)

Snowed In!

Well, I say snowed in....I've just chose to be! Although I went to get my van all scraped off for piano lessons and just gave up. So far we've not fit our van into the garage....do to riding mower and motorcycle,etc...it will probably be spring. Anyhow. Thought it would't take that long. Nope...my van was covered in ice underneath all the snow. So, Nathan's truck was all warm from work and he was going to take me....that wasn't working either since his truck decided to get stuck and do nothing but spin in the ice!! It was nice of the neighbors though. Several of the guys came out and pulled him out! They were all very nice and that was a chance to meat them. However, I didn't make my lesson but the truck is un-stuck for now! His 4-Wheel drive is broke or he would in perfect shape!
I did make cinnamon rolls though. Nothing better to do (at least I think so) than smell something wonderful baking when you're all snowed in. Not like we needed it, since I've been trying to cut back on all the bread and sweets but they sure were good! Probably the best yet!!:)
The kids had check-ups this week. They are all healthy and I really like their new Doctor a lot! He was great. Savannah is way taller and heavier than most kids her age. And Spencer is small than average!! So.....we got both sides to deal with!!
I've tried to enjoy this week a little more and not get so caught up in our "house-jobs!" I did the finishing touches on the wallpapering in the kitchen and finished the painting completely downstairs. So I can rest somewhat now!! It still has quite a few finish work to do. But that all comes with time! We are loving it. We feel ver blessed to be here!
Our church is doing great! We are enjoying it very much and can't wait till springtime! Our attendance is staying right up there and we are expecting the best to come. Our church body is very special. I even had a man stop by today to see if I needed anything from the grocery since I was snowed in!!:) How nice of him. I feel like everyone tries to think of each other and that's very nice.
Well, I must head off to bed. The kids are sound asleep. I think Spencer may be getting a little sick...Later

My kids were excited to look out the window again and see some snow!! They are really wanting to get in it, but I guess I'm a bad mom.....I really don't want to mess with it! But...we'll see. I would really like a big snow though!
Things are going very well down here in Loogootee. Our church is doing wonderful! We are seeing new things all the time, new faces, new teens, new ways of doing things, and the Lord brought us back a new (old) piano player!! She used to be the pianist for years and has returned to us and we are SOOOO thankful. IT was a complete answer to all of our prayers!! We are just seeing things happen right before our eyes and are just stunned. As our Liz says, "God, you did it again"! She's quite a live-wire and gets me tickled on how she talks about what God's doing in their lives. This family hasn't been saved all that long and it blows me away how strong they believe. It's sooooo exciting and refreshing. So, things are only getting better here in Loogootee. We are loving every moment.
The kids are doing good. Spencer has a birthday in less than a month...he'll be 2! He's quite funny but yet a lot more shy than Savannah ever was!!

We Are Up And Running Once Again!!

After weeks full of moving, packing and unpacking....painting, organizing (or at least trying) and everything else, we are up and kicking again! It took a while to get phone service and dsl all hooked up again but that was ok. It doesn't hurt anyone to be without internet for a while. Life still goes on and you just find other things to do! We are glad to have it though, since it's a great tool to find teaching materials with and etc. It will definitely be a help to find Junior Church stories, etc.! And Nathan likes it for youth outreach ideas and preaching material. Anyhow!! Life is going great down here in Loogootee IN! We are loving it very much. We have fallen in love with the people here and God is with us in our services. We have seen several new faces in and out of our services already. There have been several teens come back and we are thankful for that!! There's much to be done and at times we feel so young and unexperienced! But we just want God to help us and that's all we can do I guess!
I have pictures of our house and church, I just need to get more inside photos loaded! The house is huge compared to what we've been used to since being married!! It's very lovely and we are trying to make it even lovelier by painting, and eventially the old hardwood floors (in the kitchen, quest bedroom and bath) WILL be re-done!!! That is proclamation by Telesa.:) I love hardwood floors and pretty much all the original house has hardwood. I really hope my hubby takes heed to that. (hint hint dear)
I can't believe Christmas is over and a new year has begun!! We are expecting great things this new year!
Savannah and Spencer had a great Christmas with both sides of family. Spencer was much more involved with Christmas this year!! Last year he was just a baby. And of course Savannah is the center of the show!! She loved all the "dress-up" clothes. The night after getting all her presents before she went to sleep I prayed with her and we thanked God for all her presents. I explained to her that there were other little girls out there who would really love to have presents but don't have nice toys like we get! I really think she was thankful in her little girl heart!!:)
We are blessed with quite a few young people and kids at church. The teens put on a play and did a great job!! We have quite the actors!! And there's around 15 or so for Junior Church every Sunday morning so we are excited about them!!

Flu on Christmas?! What fun!

Today we are at Aunt Rachel's. We came Christmas Eve night along with Grandpa and Grandma and Jon & Aytha. Yesterday we had a fun Christmas day opening presents, eating, and just being together! Until last night when Savannah out of nowhere threw up all over me!! And thus, we were also up a lot in the night. But it doesn't end there. Grandma also woke up with the "bug" and Aunt Aytha has been sleeping most of the afternoon. So, joy oh joy, let's just hope and pray it doesn't keep spreading!! Other than that it's been a great Christmas and we are heading home tonight. Tomorrow is Christmas with my family. Maybe, unless I'm in bed!
I don't know when we'll ever discover phone service or internet, although they are in process of being hooked up.......hopefully within the next week!! Everything else has been going quite well at our new place! We had good crowds out on Christmas Sunday and also for our Candlelight Service Tuesday night! It was beautiful and we had several new visitor's, at least new to us!! And we are seeing more and more teens come back which is an answer to prayer!! Things seem to be looking brighter all the time for our Church. We are enjoying in to the fullest and feel that
s exactly where we need to be!!
Our house is also coming along, we just need to paint the quest bedroom and bath. It looks quite a lot better! We are enjoying the big house and are hoping to do more entertaining now that the painting is done and we are feeling a little more put together!:)

I am still using the library's computer!:( We've had some difficulty with getting our phone service and it's not scheduled until December 31st. And to beat all, these computers are slower than slow! Oh well. Life is wonderful anyhow!
Things are going well, we are still getting things done to the house. I finished our master bedroom today and almost have the laundry room completed, too. It's starting to look like home!! I will post pictures when we get our internet on!
We made a huge batch of peanut butter balls today!:) We are making candy tins for our church people. It's a lot of fun! The kid's eyes were lighting up over them. Of course we gave them "just one, ok!"
The kids are finally over their head colds. They are excited for Christmas and love the tree. They stayed the night at Mama and Papa's Friday night while Nathan and I went to UBC's Christmas play with my brother and his wife. We had a lot of fun and it was nice to see so many old faces!
Well, Christmas is only 10 more days!! That's great except my Christmas shopping isn't done.......

An Update!!

Finally! I'm still using the library, but hopefully we will have out internet within the next couple weeks! It has been quite the ordeal getting new service. However, our move went really well. We moved into a beautiful house with lots more room than we have been used to, but we are adapting quite well!!:) 4 bedrooms, 2 baths....the house newly remodeled. The church people was there to welcome us that day and had worked on cleaning it all week long. The people have been more than kind to us here. We have already bonded and built relationships that we are excited to keep building!! We love the down-home, country atmosphere! Everyone is eager to fellowship and worship God together. We feel God is wanting to do a great work here at the church. They have been through some really really rough months but are seeing the light of day! We have been feeling God's presence in our services! Anyhow....more later. I will post pictures later. Savannah loves Junior church and getting up front every Sunday to sing with the kids!!:)
Nathan is on his second week at MacAllister's, where Troy and Aaron work. It has just worked out perfectly, with the perfect hours. He got the job the Monday after we moved, isn't God good?!
The kids are adjusting well. They love their new rooms upstairs!!
Well, I will post more later. I must get home to my babies!!

My blogging world may be on hold here shortly. Our internet will be cancelled while we are moving, which may take a while to get running again. So I will update for now! We are taking a church in Loogootee, IN.! And yes, we are very excited about this!! We feel God has completely opened the doors for us! The church people are so very friendly and open, we are very excited to be a part of their congregation! We hope and pray God used us somehow, even though we feel like a couple teenagers with no experience!! Anyhow, we may be moving rather soon....thus my days have been filled with packing and more packing, all while watching kids, laundry, cooking, cleaning, doing some painting repairs, etc...It's all very exciting. I'm trying to stay calm since I am babysitting this week as well, which is my last week with Chloe! She's a cute little girl that I hate to see go to daycare. Her daddy really hates seeing me move. Her mother and daddy are not married and are separated, but her dad takes good care of her and wants the best for her. I pray she'll have a good babysitter to go to! But needless to say, I have 3 little munhkins running around making messes while I'm trying to box it all up!!hee These are fun, fun times! I'll taking lots of pictures. So..........we are feeling so blessed by God. He's completely answered our prayers in leading us when we didn't know His will. He works in ways we never ask or think. The church has young people that need lots of love and friendship, as well as the whole church!
Well, I need to be off! Nathan is away job hunting! I just had to take a couple minutes to update. I will finish my tax-updating, then it's off to make lunch and put kids to bed.....:)

Yummy Enchilada Soup
1-2 Cans chicken (or cook your own)
1 Can cream of chicken
1 Can enchilada sauce
1 Can fiesta nacho cheese soup (or I substitute velveeta cheese)
2 1/4- 2 1/2 C. milk
1/2 C. green chilies (or throw in a can of rotel tomatoes, also yummy!)

Serve with tortilla chips or Grill up some cheese quesadilas and Enjoy!!

This week has gone a little better. I babysit only every other week, which is just about perfect. The only thing that in not perfect is the fighting, whinning, etc....my kids are much better with just the 2 of them. So, it's been a little smoother week so far. Today I was able to get out and do a little shopping, which I haven't done in a while. Actually, it was just 1 store! But hey, that's doing good with 2 kids who don't like to shop! I was able to pick up a few Christmas presents....T J Maxx is one of my favorites and at Christmas time they have some extra neat things. They also have some neat kids toys!
The rest of my day has been coping with some type of stomach/flu bug. The little girl I babysit and her dad had it last week, so I guess it got past along. My stomach just hurts clear through the back and I feel like I could sleep all day. But of course that's not possible either! So therefore we just go on! I have to be pretty sick to stay down.
Our weekend went very well. Sunday we tried out at a church in Loogootee,IN. It was a great day with the people their! We are excited to see what God has in store!
Well, I best be off to fix some supper for my kids!

About Vacation

We had a good time in Florida. The trip there was too long to describe! We got there on Saturday night around 9:00. We ended up leaving Friday and spent the night and drove the rest of the way on Saturday. It ended up being much, much better that way! Our time there was very nice. Our condo was very nice and spacious. It was three stories and we each had our own bathroom. We cooked some of our meals there and had a big breakfast each morning! We seen a lot of neat things. We went to SeaWorld, which was fun all except our getting "poured" on with rain! We went on to visit St. Augustine, which is the oldest City in the U.S. It was quite a city! Very interesting. A person could spend a week there alone. It's an attraction city, with lots of museums, tours, unique shopping, etc. They had beautiful churches to tour, and Mr. Flager's old hotels, which is now a college and other buildings built for him in his time. The history of this town is amazing and so interesting!
The only bad things about our trip was the rain! It rained every afternoon, most of those times we were physically affected!!:) But of a morning it was beautiful and most mornings we started our day by going straight to the beach!! What a way to start a day!! Very beautiful! Me and Nathan had some good times walking the beach alone and just enjoying it's beauty.
It was my first time to see the ocean and also Nathan's Mom's first time! (Which was hilarious but I'll spare her from hearing the story......again!!:) Needless to say it was the moment of the week and we teased her good over it.
We just had a good time and it was fun being together with family, too. Even if they do see how human we each are!!:) My sister in law is already on the go to plan another vacation...but maybe a couple years from now!! Sounds like a plan........
We are now home, after a long day of picking our kids up yesterday. They spend 9 days with Mama and Papa and we can tell!!! Today Savannah wasn't wanting to lay down and take a nap like I told her to and was crying around after I had to get on to her.........I finally asked if she missed Mama and she said "yeah"! I just have my work cut out for me for a few days! They aren't wanting to listen with the first command too well:) I'm sure they had lots of fun at Mama's and I'm sure my mom is ready for a break! It was very nice to be away for a few days though. I felt like a teenager dating all over again!! Walking the beach, walking down-town Florida.....it was nice.
Well, our week has started out quite great so far. I believe God is opening some doors in our lives right now and we are quite excited. We are just trusting him to work out his perfect plan. We truly are blessed to have a God that cares so much and knows how to open doors just when things seem hopeless!

This has been a busy week getting ready to leave for vacation early Saturday morning. We are going to Florida with Nathan's mom and Dad & Sister and Brother-in-law. (and Caleb) We got a great deal on a beach house through some friends of Rachel and Waynes. So we are driving out there early Sat. morning. Not looking forward to the drive!! But for the beach! I've never been to Florida or the beach, so I'm excited. Just hope it's a little warm.
Last weekend the kids and I went to my mom and Dad's. The kids are going there again tomorrow to stay a whole week with them while we are gone. My kids will (hopefully) do okay, but Mama and Papa will probably be beat come next Saturday. Mom babysits for 3 girls, not to mention my 2! I will miss them, too. So we shall see...........
Life has just been busy with babysitting, etc. I'm very tired, getting ready to leave wears a person out! Trying to get laundry all done, house cleaned.....stuff we all think "has" to be done.
